Great attitude by the owners, very friendly, very helpful. Nice meal at the end of the day.
Shower too small, bedroom could do with a detailed clean.

While the hotel is bordering on "heritage" in style, the warmth of the welcome by the owners overcame any misgivings at the apparent age of the building itself. Our bedroom while small had a wonderful view, was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. There was good WiFi connection and a TV in the room. The bathroom while dated, was clean. Because the hotel is situated halfway up a mountain, we stayed there for dinner at night which was very good in an interesting dining room with a good choice of food. Breakfast the next morning was in a room overlooking the valley, and again there was a good choice of food for all nationalities. The hotel has quite a family history and is obviously a work in progress, and a pleasant place to stay for a night or two.
The narrow stairs to the first floor. Bit hard with large (23kg) bags.

Good food, friendly service
Web site says 3 km from Bourg-St-Maurice - that must be crow distance as it is well up the mountain - at least 12 hairpins!
